Important safety notice
Tremo is not an official earthquake early-warning system. It shows information published by official seismic networks (Colombian Geological Survey, USGS and EMSC), which arrives seconds to minutes after a quake and may be preliminary, revised or contain errors. The intensities, wave arrival times and probabilities Tremo computes are approximate estimates. Notifications may be delayed or not arrive for reasons beyond our control (operating system, battery saving, connectivity, permissions). Always follow your authorities and keep your phone's official alerts turned on. Don't make life-or-death decisions based on Tremo alone.
The service
Tremo is free and operated by qhero.net. It's provided "as is", without warranties of continuous availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose, and may change, pause or end.
Forecast lab
The Lab shows experimental statistical probabilities for educational and research purposes. They are not earthquake predictions and must not be used to evacuate, invest or make safety decisions. The "public predictions" registry checks third-party claims; listing them implies no endorsement.
Community
You must be 18 or older to participate. You're responsible for what you post. Forbidden: insults, harassment or discrimination; spam, advertising or unofficial links; false information, rumors or "predictions"; sharing other people's personal data; impersonating people or institutions; and any illegal content. We may hide messages and mute or suspend accounts that break these rules. By posting you allow us to display your content within Tremo; you can remove it by deleting your account.
Artificial intelligence
Mascot answers and some articles are produced with AI assistance and may contain mistakes. Always cross-check with official sources.
Intellectual property
Tremo's name, mascot, design and code belong to qhero.net. Seismic data, maps and other third-party resources belong to their owners and are used under their licenses (see About).
Links and advertising
Tremo may show voluntary support links or external advertising. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content. We never show ads during an alert.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, qhero.net is not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, Tremo, from delays or errors in third-party information, or from decisions made based on it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. We may update them; the date above shows the latest version.
